You are a limited edition 😌

I bought this top from Sri Lanka two days before my flight to NZ few years ago, I dont remember the first time I saw it on the shelf at the showroom where I bought it but I do remember the feeling I had back then, It did say that you are a limited edition, to the person who lived inside my mind at the very moment she wanted to hear it the most..

Back then I was confused, broken and while everybody thought I had a bright future I could barely see it. I was changing countries and careers thinking I can make a difference in my life and everybody around me for the better, trying to find my own place in this world.

I was broken to the point where I would get angry at the wind for messing up with my hair and get angry with my hair for messing up with the wind. Very complicated. And then I slowly realize it was me and just me who was wasting my feelings on things that I dont have any control on and it was me who could look at the problems in a different view but didn't. Then I stopped complaining and tied my hair and now the wind cant bother me anymore.

I still wear this top and still I get the same feeling I had back then when I first saw it. It makes me happy, brings a smile to my face, makes me realize how far I have come and how lucky I am to fit into it the same way I did before few years ago.. Hahahaa.. I may not fit into it tomorrow but I will make sure to cherish every moment it bought me happiness and keep those beautiful memories forever.

Enjoy all those little moments before its too late and never underestimate yourself. No matter how broke you are, when you put those broken pieces together and glue them on, you will see a master piece of Art, a unique art.

Do you have little things that continue to make you happy? Please let me know in the comments. Happiness doubles when shared.

Enjoy your life!

  3. Each one of us is a limited edition confined to our own thought processes, habits and world views. But one day we realize that the outer world is much bigger, more informed and has no time to care for us in the way we expect it to do; our salvation depends on how quickly we realize it and come to terms with it!
